Chicken lettuce wraps in less than 20 minutes



Ingredients for filling (for 3 people)

• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 500g chicken breast sliced into cubes
• 3 cloves garlic
• 1 diced onion
• 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
• 1tsp toasted sesame oil
• 2tbsp ginger paste or freshly grated ginger
• 4 handfuls of cashew nuts
• 2 spring onions thinly sliced
• 1 carrot, grated, 1 red bell pepper chopped
• 2 tsp sesame seeds


1: Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat.

2: Add chicken and cook until browned.

3: Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, ginger, and onions and heat for about 1-2 minutes.

4: Stir in chestnuts, sesame seeds, peppers, carrots and green onions and cook until soft (~3minutes)
